Formation History
In early 2018, Sri R. J. Mohan Rao of Raavela Industries initiated the formation of the Modular Furniture Manufacturers' Association (MFMA) to unite manufacturers in the rapidly evolving industry. After inviting key industry players for discussions, an ad-hoc committee was formed to draft the bylaws and register the association. The official launch took place on 7th February 2018 at the FETSIA office with 36 founding members. Since then, MFMA has steadily grown, guiding newcomers and fostering collaboration to strengthen the modular furniture sector for manufacturers and customers.
